PostSource: New Zealand PoliceEmergency services are at the scene of a serious crash that has blocked State Highway 1 between Maromaku and Kawakawa. The two-vehicle crash was reported to Police about 4.30pm. SH1 has been closed while the Serious Crash Unit carries out a scene examination. Diversions are in place and Police are asking motorists to expect delays and avoid the area if possible.
