Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded a 60 percent drop in digital arrest cases in the first six months of 2026. The state accounted for 3.5% of the country's cybercrime complaints, placing it 11th nationwide, while Uttar Pradesh topped the list with over 14% of all complaints. More stolen money being frozenThe Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) has also improved its ability to prevent fraudsters from withdrawing stolen money. Compared to 2024, cybercrime complaints in the state declined from 93,930 to 91,369 in 2025, a 3% drop.
