FARGO — Moorhead Spuds standout forward Max Cullen was traded to the Fargo Force from the Muskegon Lumberjacks, the team announced Monday afternoon. The 6-foot left-shot forward had 63 points off 27 goals and 36 assists for the Spuds last season. Cullen helped the Spuds capture their second consecutive Minnesota Class 2A boys hockey state championship last March in St. Paul. Cullen was received by the Force in exchange for forward Nick Kosiba, affiliate Trey Wilson and future considerations. Fargo defeated Devils Lake 3-1 earlier Monday to force a winner-take-all contest.
