Architects reveal future plans for Washington Square MallINDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Plans for the future of Washington Square are taking shape following a public reveal of redevelopment designs. Republican City-County Councilor Michael-Paul Hart and architects from Schmidt Associates presented the vision to more than 150 community members Monday at the Warren Township School Administrators building. Following a market analysis and town hall feedback, architects proposed a mixed-use development. Presenters described the project as a “comeback” for Washington Square, intentionally dropping the word “mall” from the title. Organizers noted the plans are not final, allowing more time for community and business feedback.
