A Russian motorcyclist died after a crash with a 10-wheel truck on Rama 2 Road in Samut Sakhon province while riding a rental motorcycle believed to have been hired in Phuket.
Emergency responders transported the Russian man to Samut Sakhon Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Police confirmed it belonged to a motorcycle rental business in the Nai Yang area of Thalang district, Phuket.
The Phuket Times Facebook page later shared what it said was the motorcycle rental agreement on August 3.
In a separate incident in March, a Russian woman died after a van crashed on Thepkasattri Road in Thalang district, Phuket.
