Investing.com - Onsemi (NASDAQ:ON) reported better-than-expected second-quarter results thanks to growing artificial intelligence data center demand, sending shares higher by more than 7% in premarket U.S. trading on Tuesday. The company's adjusted gross margin expanded to 39.3% in the second quarter, compared to 37.6% in the same period last year. The Power Solutions Group segment generated revenue of $829.0 million, up 19%, while the Advanced Solutions Group reported revenue of $545.7 million, edging down 2%. For the third quarter of 2026, Onsemi guided for revenue of $1.65 billion to $1.75 billion, compared to analysts' projections of $1.67 billion.
