"I was around 14 years old and at the shopping center with my parents. My parents were shopping for something boring, I don’t remember what, and agreed that I could go window shopping by myself with a plan to meet up again later. I don’t remember what they all were, but I do remember her asking who I was with. When I said "my parents," she asked if they were expecting me to go home with them later. And that’s when the manager said something that I can still hear clear as day: “We don’t employ undercover cops at this shopping center."
