The comments come as Beefeater's Oyster Reach restaurant in Ipswich prepares to close on September 10, following parent company Whitbread’s decision to exit the branded restaurant market. The Oyster Reach is set to close in September along with the nations Beefeater's. "I hope national government, with a new Prime Minister, can help intervene internally and provide support with business rates etc." Whitbread has confirmed that all remaining Beefeater sites will shut after service on September 10.
