A man is suspected of stabbing a man and striking a woman after he was involved in a car crash with the individuals on a freeway off-ramp in Carlsbad Sunday, officials said. WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe man, identified by CHP as suspect Orlando Query Chavez, 49, was driving a black Chevrolet Silverado when he was involved in a car crash with a woman driving a white Chevrolet Silverado with a passenger around 7 p.m. Sunday. After the crash, CHP said Chavez approached the 27-year-old passenger of the white Silverado and stabbed him; he then struck the 23-year-old woman driver. "The white Silverado drove away from the scene, and the black Silverado fled the scene after the incident," CHP said. Both the driver and the passenger of the white Silverado were taken to a local hospital for "emergency treatment" after crews responded to the scene.
