(Gary Middendorf – gmiddendorf@shawmedia/Gary Middendorf)But Councilwoman Jan Quillman said the Cathedral Area Preservation Association (CAPA) wants the conversion of the house done through some other process than a zoning variation. Quillman said she was looking for another zoning process to get the same result while avoiding the variation that could be used elsewhere in Joliet. Apparently, the resubdivision would satisfy concerns by packaging the UCP property and the neighboring house into one property without the unwanted zoning variation.
