A 69-year-old man who needed to make a trip to an outdoor retail store in Wisconsin decided to fly a helicopter in lieu of driving because the trip was "too long." Washington County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a one-of-a-kind parking complaint Saturday night: a helicopter had landed in the Cabelo's lot in Richfield. Authorities said it was "just a unique way to make a shopping trip to avoid all the roundabouts in front of Cabela's." Cabela's, which is a retailer that specializes in hunting, fishing, boating, camping and other outdoor recreation merchandise, was acquired by Bass Pro Shops in 2017.
