Blue Jays trade Jeff Hoffman to Twins for three prospects

Jays Journal Feed
The Toronto Blue Jays continue what has been an eventful trade deadline, sending out relief pitcher Jeff Hoffman to the Minnesota Twins.
Hoffman is in year two of a three-year deal he signed with the Blue Jays after the 2024 season, so there was no urgency to deal him in the same way that there was for other players the Blue Jays moved.
This trade continues the hybrid approach for the Blue Jays this deadline, headlined by the acquisition of José Soriano from the Los Angeles Angels.
The Blue Jays will also receive $250,000 in international bonus pool money.
