Following a pair of deferred votes and several revisions to its original plan, the developer behind the Bacova community near Short Pump has gotten the green light for dozens more homes along Pouncey Tract Road. Henrico supervisors last week approved the reworked proposal from Bacova Development Co. for 74 townhome-style condominiums on a 10-acre site across from Pouncey Tract Park and Striker Park. “Relatively speaking for projects, I think this is the right-sized development for this, and this is a piece of the Bacova development, which is a much larger project,” Roundtree said. Roundtree also noted the removal of the northern connector road, which leaves the site with one access off Pouncey Tract. Last year, he and fellow developer Lawrence Liesfeld secured approval for 32 for-sale townhomes at the northwest corner of Pouncey Tract and Liesfeld Farm Drive.
