The ‘dangerous’ roundabout where pedestrians ‘take lives into own hands’

Leigh and Atherton MP Jo Platt recently visited Greyhound Roundabout, on the A580 East Lancashire Road near Glazebury. The MP described the crossing as ‘awful, dangerous, and precarious’ for pedestrians, even in non-rush hour traffic. She says that she will continue to push for improvements to be made to boost safety. Ms Platt commented: “Many residents have long been campaigning for a crossing at Greyhound Roundabout, and I completely share their concerns.
