['Gavin Engelbrecht']
The Northern Echo | News
Stockton Council has unveiled a comprehensive plan to streamline traffic management by digitising all traffic orders.
The plan includes revoking and replacing all existing traffic orders related to moving traffic, weight limits, parking, speed limits, and off-street parking.
The council stated: "The effect of these orders would be to produce five Stockton borough-wide traffic orders relating to moving traffic, weight limit, static (parking), off-street car parks, and speed limit restrictions.
The proposed orders can be examined at the Stockton Customer Service Centre, Central Library, The Square, Stockton, during normal office hours, and on the council's website under the 'Traffic Orders' section.
Those wishing to make a representation should send their reasons in writing to the Network and Traffic Team Leader, Stockton Council, Dunedin House, Columbia Drive, Thornaby, Stockton, TS17 6BJ.
