The annual Summer Fade Away Festival is coming to Washington County this week, promising an afternoon of family-friendly fun in support of the nonprofit Autism Caring Center.
The festival was founded by Scott Snyder after his son, Nathan, who was diagnosed with autism 13 years ago.
“The Summer Fade Away Festival is a way to celebrate summer while raising awareness and funds for services that support children and families with autism and other special needs,” Snyder said.
The festival will feature a number of resources and support services for people who have autism and their families.
“We provide one-on-one consultations to help individuals and families navigate autism services and connect with the resources they need.
