Instead, organisers have confirmed that the concerts will no longer go ahead after circumstances prevented the singer from travelling to South Africa. Reportedly, the announcement follows discussions between Maxwell’s management and local promoter Vertex Events, who said every effort was made to keep the tour on track. In a message shared through Vertex Events, Maxwell expressed regret over the cancellation. ‘Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, I’m unfortunately no longer able to perform in South Africa as planned.
