The biggest defensive concern remaining for the Green Bay Packers is whether or not the franchise has enough depth to cover for the loss of Micah Parsons. Even with Lukas Van Ness looking great in camp, there is a lack of established pass-rushing options, which has one obvious answer. Current Arizona Cardinals defender Josh Sweat has been the source of trade speculation over the last few months. Sweat is a veteran who deserves a chance to contribute to a roster with realistic expectations of contention. The only downside here is the $23 million cap hit that Sweat will have in both the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
