Flowerdown Care Home in Winchester is in the running for National Garden of the Year and has already won the South West division title in the Barchester Care Awards, which celebrate outstanding care home staff across the UK. The home’s senior housekeeper, Marcela Vasiliu, also won the Hospitality Champion title for the South West division and is through to the national finals. Both Marcella and Ian will attend the national finals in October, where they will join winners from across the UK.
