The fire, covering an area roughly 200 metres by 100 metres, was reported off Salisbury Road shortly before 9am. At approximately 2pm, fire crews were still at the scene using hoses and beaters to contain the blaze. "Working in hot conditions and on challenging terrain, our firefighters are using hoses and beaters to stop the fire involving trees and shrubland. We've had some more crews come down to take over, but we are scaling back the number of teams for the night.
