Srinagar, Aug 03: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi on Monday chaired a security review meeting here in view of forthcoming events to assess the prevailing security scenario and strengthen the overall security framework across the Valley. Hqrs, IG CRPF KOS, IG CRPF Srinagar, Additional Commissioner SB Srinagar, DIG SSB Srinagar, DIG CID Kashmir, all range DIGs of Kashmir Zone, DIG Traffic Kashmir, DIG IR/Armed Kashmir, DIG ITBP Srinagar, DIG RPF Kashmir, DIGs of CRPF South/North Srinagar, SSP PCR Kashmir, all district SSPs of Kashmir Zone, SSPs of Railways Kashmir, Traffic Rural Kashmir, CID SB (K), APCR Srinagar, CID CI (K), Security Kashmir, Asstt. The IGP reviewed security measures in place for the protection of National Highways, railway tracks, and railway stations across the Valley. The meeting concluded with the resolve to ensure heightened vigilance, improved coordination, and effective implementation of security measures to maintain peace and safety across the Valley.
