Srinagar, Aug 3: The Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS) Club at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar organised a hands-on technical workshop on the Frappe Framework and ERPNext, introducing students to open-source tools used for developing enterprise and business applications. The technical session was led by Akshit Bhardwaj, Team Lead, who conducted live coding demonstrations and explained the fundamentals of the Frappe Framework and ERPNext. Members of the FOSS Club provided hands-on assistance throughout the workshop, helping participants install the framework, configure the development environment, and build their first applications during the interactive session. The organisers said the workshop was aimed at equipping students with practical skills in open-source software development and exposing them to technologies widely used in enterprise application development. The workshop forms part of the FOSS Club's ongoing efforts to promote collaborative learning and encourage students to contribute to open-source software projects.
