Delhi Police deny permission for Arvind Kejriwal’s E20 protest march to PM Modi's residence

With no authorisation granted, police are implementing security measures to block the unsanctioned protest.
New Delhi: A planned march by Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal to the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 4 to present petitions opposing E20 fuel will not be permitted, police sources stated on Monday.
A senior police official confirmed that no authorisation had been issued for the demonstration, adding that security measures were being implemented to block any unsanctioned procession.

The former Delhi chief minister noted that he had dispatched a letter to the prime minister in the preceding month requesting a formal meeting to address reservations over E20 fuel, but received no reply.
