Xplorer is launching at Promenade Park in Maldon and Riverside Park in Burnham, offering a free way for children and families to explore, learn new skills and stay active during the school holidays. The programme is being delivered by Maldon District Council through its Active Maldon initiative, which promotes health, wellbeing and physical activity across the district. The council has also announced plans to bring engagement sessions to Riverside Park, with dates expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks. Councillor Simon Morgan, leader of Maldon District Council, said: “We want our young people and families to get outside, get moving and make the most of the fantastic parks and open spaces we have across the district. “We're delighted to be bringing Xplorer to Promenade Park and Riverside Park, and we're keen to help more communities across the district benefit from it too.”
