Penrhos Spirits, based in Herefordshire, will now see its London Dry gin stocked in eight Waitrose stores across Wales, the Welsh Borders, and beyond - including Hereford, just a few miles from the farm where the gin is made. The listing marks a major milestone for the distillery, which produces award-winning, farm-to-bottle spirits using surplus or 'wonky' fruit grown on the family farm. To celebrate the launch, Penrhos Spirits will bring a taste of the farm to Waitrose customers with pop-up experiences in the car parks of all eight stores. Shoppers will have the chance to meet the Penrhos family team, sample the full range of gins.
