New Mersey ferry one step closer to sailing the River Mersey

Ahead of its arrival, Mersey Ferries has submitted a licensing application to Wirral Council for the new vessel.
The licensing application, seeks permission for alcohol to be served on the boat from 11am to 3am, seven days a week.
The address given on the licensing application is Seacombe Ferry Terminal in Wirral, from where the ferries take passengers to and from the Liverpool Gerry Marsden Ferry Terminal at the Pier Head.
The Discovery Café at Seacombe Ferry Terminal has recently reopened under new management.
Anyone wanting to comment on the licensing application can write to the Licensing Office by email to licensing@wirral.gov.uk or by letter to Town Hall, PO Box 290, Brighton Street, Wallasey, CH27 9FQ; by no later than August 6.
