Georgia football quarterback Gunner Stockton and running back Nate Frazier have both been named to the 2026 Maxwell Award Watch List, the Maxwell Football Club has announced. The Maxwell Award, named after Robert W. “Tiny” Maxwell, is an annual award given to the college football player of the year. The winner of the 2026 Maxwell Award will be announced live on ESPN at the Home Depot College Football Awards Show in December. Gunner Stockton and Nate Frazier headline a Georgia Bulldogs club that has recorded back-to-back SEC championships and College Football Playoff appearances. The game will kickoff at 3:00pm ET and will be a streaming-only event on SEC Network+.
