While UMD baseball is three months removed from the season, the team hasn’t stopped making moves. Gabe Duncan is joining the Bulldogs as an assistant coach. The newest addition to Bob Rients’ staff most recently served as head coach at Oak Grove High School and as an assistant with Concordia softball. Duncan pitched for the Cobbers from 2020-23, capping off his career with an appearance in the MIAC playoffs. The Moorhead native joins a UMD squad that went 19-31 in the spring.
