With one week left in the Northwoods League season, the Honkers played their penultimate home game against the La Crosse Loggers at Mayo Field. The Loggers took an early 2-0 lead when Eli Small hit the second Loggers home run of the game over the left-field fence. The Honkers answered in the third inning when Seth Thompson chopped one down the first-base line to score a run. The bats then went quiet and the Honkers lost 10-4.
