New Dawn Fades will be performed at The Coro in Ulverston on September 18, telling the story of the iconic band and 1970s Manchester. Written by Brian Gorman, the play explores the legacy of lead singer Ian Curtis and the group’s transformation into New Order after his death. Tony Clarke of Louder Than War said: "The play is a beautiful crafted and emotional homage to a hugely influential and talented band." Directed by Brian Gorman and Lauren Greenwood, the play stars Josh Lonsdale as Ian Curtis, with Ms Greenwood returning to her role as Debbie Curtis. Tickets priced at £32.50 include a souvenir programme and can be booked via The Coro website.
