Marianne Livesey, who runs Salthouse Post Office and the Happy Little Gift Company on Risedale Road, addressed speculation that she was leaving her branch by creating a video of herself dancing. "I am here... You are not lucky enough to have me not in this Post Office. The video, which shows her dancing to The Hues Corporation's Rock the Boat, includes on-screen text repeating her denial. This is not the first time Ms Livesey has had to address similar rumours. Last October, the postmistress, whose career at the post office has spanned more than 20 years, publicly rejected suggestions that she might sell the branch.
