MEDORA, N.D. — At Salt + Scoria , a restaurant located inside the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, five unique portraits of Native Americans are on display for visitors to see.
The portraits aren’t ordinary pictures — they’re prints of wet plate photographs taken by Bismarck-based photographer Shane Balkowitsch for his "Northern Plains Native Americans : A Modern Wet Plate Perspective" series.
