Such recognition, he said, would not only elevate the global stature of the Rath Yatra but also contribute to its preservation and promotion for future generations. The Chief Minister also conveyed the state’s readiness to provide any additional information or assistance required to strengthen the nomination. The Rath Yatra, held annually in Puri, draws millions of devotees who participate in the grand procession of the deities—Mahaprabhu Jagannatha, Mahaprabhu Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra—on elaborately crafted chariots.
