The biker struck by Elizabeth Robb also suffered “fairly catastrophic” fractures to his shoulders, rib, thigh and ankle and bruising to his lung.
Robb “just did not see the motorcycle coming” as she left work at Perth Airport and collided with him at the A94 junction, Perth Sheriff Court heard.
Airport smash66-year-old Robb, of Perth, pled guilty to causing serious injury by driving carelessly on October 9 last year.
Fiscal depute Stuart Hamilton said: “The complainer was riding his motorcycle at the locus near the junction for Scone Airport.
‘Life-changing’Defending, solicitor Daisy Johnston explained her client works as a receptionist at the Sky Lodge hotel at Perth Airport and is “incredibly sorry”.
