Council bosses have called a halt to a new flood protection scheme for Perth and Kinross residents. The Perth and Kinross Council property flood resilience grant was set up following the budget in March. Mr Crofts added: “The council remains committed to supporting flood-affected communities and will continue to offer advice and guidance on sources of support and information.” Other support is availablePerth Community Flood Aid founder Janice Haig says it’s “unfortunate” that the council fund has been paused due to demand. Perth Community Flood Aid can advise on the sort of measures covered by the council grants.
