KANO — Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has officially commissioned a dedicated Sickle Cell Centre to provide comprehensive, integrated care for individuals living with sickle cell disease across the state. In an official statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesman, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the administration reaffirmed its commitment to transforming Kano’s public health infrastructure and lowering mortality rates through direct state interventions.
