Tim Mulroy and David Shannon shared their families’ histories at Barlby High School, recounting powerful stories of courage and tragedy during the Second World War.
Mr Mulroy spoke about his father Hans Kohn and aunt Hana, who were rescued from Czechoslovakia through the Kindertransport programme but lost their sister Greta in the Holocaust.
Louise Fillingham, subject lead for history at Barlby High School, said: "We are immensely grateful to Tim and David for coming and sharing their families’ stories with our students.
"As a school, we have always been committed to Holocaust education and have welcomed first-generation survivor testimonies since 2012."
Year 9 student Olivia said the visit showed the importance of learning from history.
