The Phillies (57-52) have gone 3-9 since the All-Star break, falling to seven games back of the Atlanta Braves in the NL East. Two division rivals, the Marlins and Nationals, are just 2.5 games behind them, following Miami’s sweep of the Phillies this week. The Baltimore Orioles (53-56) have also battled inconsistency this season, spending most of the year lingering just under .500. The last time Philadelphia and Baltimore faced each other, in August 2025, the Phillies took two games out of three at Citizens Bank Park.
