The Healthfirst Health and Wellness Pavilion provided health screenings and resources to attendees of Jamaica Jams on Saturday, Aug. 1, along 165th Street in Jamaica.
These screenings and resources were meant to celebrate the vitality and contributions of older adults in the community.
Healthfirst partnered with the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Cultural Collaborative Jamaica and the Allen Jackson Senior Center to provide these healthy aging resources and screenings.
“Healthfirst’s Health and Wellness Pavilion at Jamaica Jams celebrates the older adults who strengthen our communities every day,” Dr. Amajor said.
This event is about providing older adults with the health screenings and trusted health resources they need to support healthy aging while celebrating the vitality, creativity and talent they bring to our neighborhoods.”
