Haydock Park Golf Club is appealing for information after an incident at around 1am on Sunday (August 2), during which it says a large number of ladies' trophies were taken from the clubhouse. Dave Haselden, chairman of the club, told the Star: "These trophies weren't worth a great deal in value, but there's hundreds of years' worth of history there. The club is now urging anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who has information about the break-in to come forward.
