At around 7.20pm on Sunday, August 2, police officers who were on patrol spotted a car driving suspiciously in Whiston. They stopped the driver of the car and searched the vehicle, where more than 300 wraps of white and brown powder were found, which police have confirmed to be crack cocaine and heroin. Detective Chief Inspector Gary Stratton said: “Our officers have removed a significant amount of illicit drugs from our streets after they stopped and searched a car in Whiston. “We would always encourage anyone who has information about drug dealing or criminality in their community to contact us so we can take positive action.” How to report drug dealing
