BIDDEFORD – Charles E. Martel, 85, passed away on July 23, 2026, at Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford. He was born in Biddeford on March 24, 1941, the son of Omer and Yvonne (Bouffard) Martel. He attended St. Andre School and graduated from St. Louis High School with the Class of 1959. Charles enjoyed golfing, bowling, walking, and exercising. He was predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Lionel Martel, Conrad Martel, Fernand Martel, and Marcel Martel; and five sisters, Therese Blais, Florence Letarte, Gertrude Lamontagne, Gabrielle Beaulieu, and Jacqueline Dion.
