RAYMOND – Phyllis Dorn Burnham died peacefully with family by her side on July 25, 2026, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough, Maine. Phyllis was born in 1936 in the small, rural tannery town of Elkland, Pa. to Harry Dorn and Genevieve Darby. After living in Burlington, Vt., where Phyllis did private duty nursing, the couple returned to Portland where Hal grew up. After raising children, Phyllis returned to nursing serving as the Raymond Elementary School nurse until she retired. Phyllis and family spent every summer on Sebago Lake at Wind-in-Pines in Raymond, the Burnham family cottage resort business founded in 1938.
