The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida will join local law enforcement agencies, community leaders and residents in celebrating National Night Out in High Springs on Tuesday night, highlighting partnerships that strengthen public safety and community engagement.
The High Springs Police Department will host the event from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the High Springs Civic Center (19107 N.W.
240th St., High Springs).
National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign held annually on the first Tuesday in August in most communities across the United States.
Local events typically feature block parties, cookouts, festivals, parades, youth activities, safety demonstrations, educational seminars and opportunities for residents to meet law enforcement officers, firefighters and other emergency personnel.
