The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) shared an update on the Brown’s Canyon Fire on Saturday, August 1.
It is located about 3.5 miles southeast of Nathrop in the Browns Canyon National Monument.
Firefighters continue to monitor the incident.
The BLM update stated that fire behavior and the potential for it to spread remain low.
Fire crews will continue to monitor the incident daily until it is no longer a concern.
