The sister of a schoolgirl who vanished almost 50 years ago after following a group of boys into a squat has issued an emotional appeal for help finding her. Suzanne Lawrence disappeared in the summer of 1979, when she was just 14 years old. The officers continue to support Suzanne's family. Detective Chief Inspector Kam Sodhi, who is leading the Met's investigation, said: 'We're committed to getting answers for Suzanne's family, even after all these years. 'I believe these individuals may hold vital information about Suzanne's movements after her sister returned home and I would urge them to come forward.
