Beau was treated at a local clinic for life-threatening wounds before the United States Coast Guard airlifted him to Miami to undergo a ten-hour surgery. ‘He was airlifted to the United States for emergency medical care, where he now begins what will be a long and difficult road to recovery.’ ‘Shortly after 12:00pm, the victim was airlifted to the United States by the United States Coast Guard, accompanied by his father, to receive further medical treatment,' the statement continued.
