A self-proclaimed 'vampire' who placed deer heads and slaughtered lambs at churches as part of a campaign against Christians has been detained in hospital. He stole and killed farm animals and left their bodies or remains at various churches in the New Forest, Hampshire, on 13 different occasions last year. In one incident at Easter, he 'left his signature' by placing a tarot card on a dead deer's head outside a church. He also left a deer's head on the gate outside of vulnerable adult accommodation in which he had previously stayed. The court heard Lewis had a 'fascination with vampires' from a young age and left a dead frog on a cross outside a church when he was 13.
