WATERVILLE – Amy Lyn Hamm, 49, of Waterville, Maine, passed away peacefully in her sleep while holding her husband’s hand, surrounded by loved ones on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Augusta Maine General due to complications from cardiac events in which she was unable to recover from. Amy was born in Waterville to her mother Judy Chute (husband Phil Chute) and predeceased father Kenneth Hallee. She is survived by her husband Jason Hamm and brother Andy Hallee of Portland. Amy graduated from Lawrence High School in 1996 where she made life-long friends that she continued to keep intouch with through the many years. Amy loved watching ‘Big Brother’ every season and spending numerous hours each summer obsessing over the Houseguests and their antics.
