Mays Landing, N.J. — A Salem County man who was arrested for driving while intoxicated on the Atlantic City Expressway while having a loaded handgun has been sentenced to eight years in state prison.
Pulled Over at 100 MPHAccording to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, on October 27, 2023, New Jersey State Police received reports of an erratic driver on the Atlantic City Expressway who was going more than 100 MPH and swerving in traffic.
He told troopers he had consumed "a couple of drinks and a couple of shots" before getting behind the wheel.
